Child Success Center (CSC) offers a comprehensive, full-team approach to boost development and learning for children with individual needs. As a parent, if you feel overwhelmed by the process of designing a therapy and school plan for your child, CSC's comprehensive support programming is here to be your co-captain and guide you through this journey.
Our School Inclusion Program, also known as the Peapod Program, provides guidance for school placement, in-school support that allows each child to flourish in a natural setting, and programming that builds the developmental building blocks of your child's social brain and skill abilities. We focus on creating a learning environment based on a developmentally sound model.
We understand that starting school can be challenging for children with individual needs. Our approach allows these children to progress at a developmentally appropriate pace, combining a naturalistic play-based Applied Behavior Analysis approach with emotional regulation and social communication curriculum. This creates an environment that provides the right level of challenge for early learners.
Our experienced team of behavioral, occupational, and speech therapists design individualized plans that evolve with your child's growth throughout their preschool and elementary school journey. These plans are tailored to:
- Accommodate different needs and financial constraints
- Collaborate with families to find the best learning/school match for their child
- Potentially start with a center-based program five days a week
- Gradually transition to a school experience leading to full inclusion, with or without support
CSC partners with private preschools in the Los Angeles area and offers various levels of programming. If your child is encountering barriers in various settings, we can explore whether our Peapod Program would be suitable for establishing and building the skills needed for their school journey.
Supporting Local and International Families and Children
Child Success Center (CSC) offers tailored assessment and treatment programs to support international families with special needs children. Our comprehensive services include:
Full Service Assessment Plan
- Collaboration with home-based therapists via telehealth
- On-site assessment at CSC: 4-5 days/week, up to 5 hours/day (2-4 weeks duration)
- Comprehensive reports and ongoing mentorship for families, therapists, and schools
Our comprehensive assessment components include behavioral services, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and educational therapy, with optional referrals available to neuropsychologists, developmental pediatricians, developmental optometrists, and holistic pediatricians to ensure a well-rounded evaluation of your child's needs.
Our Summer Intensives, available from May 15th to September 15th, offer international families the opportunity to engage in full or partial team therapy programs. These programs are individually designed by our director to meet each child's unique needs. Sessions run up to 5 hours a day, 4-5 days a week, with program durations ranging from 6 to 21 weeks. For families seeking more extensive support, we offer a Full Year Program focused on intensive early intervention. This program provides access to our comprehensive full-service inclusion services, ideal for those requiring long-term, in-depth support.
