Boost Confidence and Skills in Our Engaging Summer Camp
Child Success Center offers a Kindergarten Enrichment Camp each summer to help children transition smoothly from preschool to elementary school. This program is designed to prepare children for the new challenges of kindergarten, including adapting to a bigger school environment, increased focus on academics, and greater independence.
The camp runs for three weeks, the last 2 weeks of July and the first week of August, with sessions from 8:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
During the camp, children engage in activities that develop crucial skills for kindergarten success. These include early reading and writing, adapting to new routines, building social-emotional skills, and making new friends. The curriculum incorporates proven educational programs such as Social Thinking ®, Handwriting Without Tears ®, and The Zones of Regulation ®. To make learning fun and engaging, the center's gymnasium is transformed into an adventure space with swings, a trampoline, and a climbing wall.
Parents have praised the program's effectiveness in preparing their children for kindergarten. They report improvements in their children's literacy skills, emotional regulation, and overall confidence. One parent shared, "I can't say enough about K-Camp. The camp is led by experienced staff who provide regular updates on each child's progress. While a minimum two-week session is encouraged, individual weeks are available to accommodate different schedules.
