Skills Sharpening Workshops
Summer 2009 Workshops include:
- Read Ahead – Improve reading fluency and comprehension
- Writers Workshop – Creative thinking, writing, & sharing
- Secrets to Handwriting Success – Improve handwriting legibility and speed
- Solve This – Improve math skills
- Spelling Bee – Spelling rules to build confidence and success for all ages
- Organizational/ Study Skills – Time management, note taking, and test taking strategies
- Social Skills – Support peer relationships (Ages 3-7)

WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT
Skills sharpening workshops are offered in small groups of 3-5 students once a week for 90 minutes for students in elementary & middle school. Private (1:1) sessions also available by request.
Note: Not all children can benefit equally from a small group setting. If the learning specialist feels your child would benefit more with 1:1 support, you will be notified. Sign up today or give us a call for more information at (310) 899-9597 or caitlin.andrews@childsuccesscenter.com
Program Schedule
Workshops will start June 29 th and run for 9 weeks through August 14 th .
Each workshop will run on one designated day during the week for 90 minutes each session: M-F 3:30-5:00 or Saturday 9:00-10:30AM.
Call CSC for more detailed schedule information. We will do our best to accommodate you.
Program Pricing
$95 per 90 min. small group workshop session (3 students min/ 5 students max per group)
*Sign up for 8 weeks and receive discount ($680/8 weeks)
$120 per 60 min. (1:1) workshop session scheduled to fit summer plans
